Emily Diepenbrock, CPA
Emily Diepenbrock is a CPA with extensive experience across accounting, startups, consumer brands, and the electronic music industry. After beginning her career auditing manufacturing companies in the Midwest, Emily moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue work in more dynamic, creative environments.
She joined Insomniac Events, the largest electronic music promoter in the United States, where she helped build the corporate accounting department following the joint venture with Live Nation. During the height of the electronic music festival boom, Emily managed large-scale financial operations, paid artists and DJs, handled international tax withholdings, and supported major festivals under intense timelines and scrutiny.
Emily later transitioned into consumer brands and startups, managing accounting for Lime Crime and serving as Controller at Full Stack Finance, a fractional accounting firm supporting more than 30 high-growth companies across beauty, tech, apparel, and media. Her clients included Malbon Golf, Prima, ettitude, Live Tinted, and other culturally relevant brands.
In 2022, Emily became Controller at Naturium, where she helped build a strong financial foundation before the brand’s acquisition by e.l.f. Cosmetics in 2023 for $455M.
Emily founded Up Top Financial to bring her experience, clarity, and calm approach directly to individuals and businesses navigating growth and visibility.
